In homage to LeGrand Lockwood, a railroad magnate and patron of the arts, and the artists who mastered the “Machine Age,” such as Paul Cezanne, Edward Hopper and Camille Pissarro, to name a few, the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will launch an exhibition of works by contemporary artists inspired by the railways and their impact on the environment and society. The exhibit will be held in the Billiards Room at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum.
