Opening Reception – Exhibition: Fragments of Light, Impressions of Color

Join us for the opening reception for the new juried art exhibition, Fragments of Light, Impressions of Color.
The exhibition features emerging and established artists working in the style of contemporary impressionism and focusing on the effects of light and color, whether through portraiture, painting nature, or depicting the urban landscape. The exhibition was juried by Artist and Trustee Gail Ingis, who selected approximately 30 works from digital submissions.
Featured artists include: Elizabeth Hasegawa Agresta; Joseph Dermody; Katharine Draper; Yuko Ike; Richard Koleszar; Anni Lorenzini; Jean Marcellino; Kathie Milligan; Peter Millward; Judith Patterson-Lanyi; Jason Pritchard; Alex Ranniello; Malina Schneider; Clarice Shirvell; and Dmitri Wright.
**Mask / COVID-19 Policy**
Current guidelines do not require masks at this time. However, to ensure the safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff, we strongly encourage all Museum visitors to wear masks while visiting the Mansion.
As COVID-19 continues to evolve, we will update our procedures and policies, accordingly, following CDC and the State of CT guidelines as well as industry standards for best museum practices. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home and visit the Museum at another time.
