Exhibition Title: Socially Distant Art: Creativity in Lockdown

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is calling for artists for a juried exhibition titled, Socially Distant Art: Creativity in LockdownThe submission deadline is February 15, 12 p.m. and the exhibit will run April 8-Aug 29, 2021.

This juried exhibition will be held in the Billiards Room at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum and the jurying process will be conducted online. Artists can enter their work below.  For additional information please email the Museum. 

Open to all artists, this exhibition will be juried by artist and Trustee Gail Ingis and Trustee Julyen Norman, who will select approximately 30 works from digital submissions.

Media: The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will welcome entries in the following categories: All fine arts media: watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, pastel, small sculpture, mixed media, photography, monotype, monoprint, fiber art, etc. No crafts, please.

Size Limitations:  No more than five feet (sixty inches) on all sides

Eligibility:  Artists that can hand-deliver and pick-up their work. We do not provide facilities for shipped work.

Fee:  $35 for 4 images inclusive of your one-year membership

Legal Agreement:  Submission of your work to the show means that you are willing to have your work reproduced virtually and in print for any and all museum publicity purposes.

Accepted work must be hand delivered on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Delivery details will be emailed to artists. End of show work must be picked up and signed out. Pickup date is Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
