Summer 2019 Interns Jessica (left) and Amalia (center)
The Museum maintains a successful internship program for high school and college students throughout Fairfield County. Since its inception, LMMM interns have been accepted, many through full or partial scholarships, at such colleges as Yale, the University of Connecticut, NYU, and George Washington University. Every year LMMM receives many requests for internships and the Museum’s staff and volunteer educators provide their time, guidance, and training in museum administration and education to help them acquire important skills for the future.
At this time, all internships are unpaid, however, students may reach out to the Education Coordinator about fulfilling academic credit(s). For more information or if you are interested in requesting an internship opportunity, please contact our Education Coordinator Charles Hill via emailor (203) 838-9799
